A free, lightweight and user-friendly personal notes manager
CintaNotes is your essential assistant in the daily task of organizing information, such as your own thoughts and ideas, article excerpts, blog postings, quotes from famous people, research data, curious facts, Wikipedia entries, you name it.
Can clip text from anywhere. Just select it and press the hotkey!
It lets you quickly jot down and tag any useful text that you come across. Unlike browser-based tools like Google Notebook, CintaNotes does not require a web browser to work: the text-clipping "magic" works in any application that can copy text to clipboard!
Fast as-you-type searching
Retrieving information is also trivial: just open CintaNotes and start typing! Only notes containing the typed phrase remain in the list. More sophisticated search criteria are supported, like searching by title or by URL the note was taken from.
No sticky notes clutter
CintaNotes saves your screen real estate and does not clutter it with "sticky notes". All notes are neatly organized in an easily navigable list.
Run it from your flash drive
CintaNotes is a totally self-contained application, meaning that you can put it on a flash drive and run it directly from there. In this way, your notes will always be with you.

Dec 25, 2008 — Release of Cintanotes Beta M4
A very merry Christmas and an extraordinarily happy New Year to everyone! We are glad to announce the Beta M4 version.
What's new in this version:
- Search text highlighting Feature
When you search, CintaNotes now highlights the instances of the searched text. So it is not only easy to find the needed notes, but easy to find something inside these notes as well.
- In-place scrolling of large notes Feature
Now you don't have to open the edit window to view the whole note. Instead, you can use the right/left arrow keys to scroll the notes' contents. CintaNotes indicates which notes can be scrolled with small grey arrows.
- Saving window position Enhancement
CintaNotes now remembers its position and size, so you don't have to re-adjust it every time.
- Smooth scrolling Enhancement
Notes in the main list are scrolled much smoother.
- No taskbar button when started minimized Fix
CintaNotes used to display its taskbar button even if it had been started minimized. Now it just displays an icon in the system tray. This is useful if you want to add a shortcut to CintaNotes to your Start Menu's "Startup" folder to run CintaNotes automatically at the system's startup.
