Hotkeys not working

I am a brandnew user to Cintanotes. I just downloaded the program and the hotkeys will not work. When I select text and then push CTRL F12, the print screen pops up. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is possible that those keys are being used by some other program on your system.

Try changing the hotkey to another key combination and see if this works

please go to "Options / Hot Keys.." and tell what is in the "Clip text hotkey" box.
