Seeing that i already a sync program for Microsoft Office (called Live Mesh), i gave it a spin to have database backed-up there and it works fine. The ideal would be to run CN from there (apparently Jarte can). Anyway, i don't have to install Dropbox (and thus have another program running in the background).

Can i install CN on a usb device?
Then i could open the db file when i'm on the road right?

Yes you Can install to a portable device. Just use the Portable version and unzip it.

It's also nice to know that we backup the db to somewhere else where we already have information stored.
