Hi guys
I sync my Cintanotes across two laptops. Suddenly the client on laptop 1 wouldn't open; I tried reinstalling it, but for some reason there was an error each time. Now I have, somehow, conflicting copies - I am working on laptop 2, but there are notes I urgently need on laptop 1's database, & I can't access them.
Any suggestions? Should I install a portable copy on a flash, & point it to the database I need access to? I've tried that, but without success - not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Many thanks,
Photonaut

Sure, I would try with the portable version...
Download and unzip CintaNotes portable in any folder (but avoid special folders like for example program files)
Exit any running cintanotes instance on laptop 1 or kill them with task manager if there is a stuck instance
Copy your database (cintanotes.db) to the CN portable folder so that the database file is together with cintanotes.exe
Now start cintanotes (portable) and it should pick up and show your notes and it won't interfere with the installed version
