I bought today cintanotes (personal) as the newer versions don't have notebook option.
I installed 1.62 version but I still don't have notebook in menu ... ?
Can somebody help me with this ? Is it the same with New command in File menu ?
Second, I want to run in the same time 2 instances of cintanotes (with 2 different keyboard shortcuts): one for myself (eventually encrypted for personal notes) and the other one to share with friends. Is there a trick to do it ?
Thank you in advance.

Re: notebook option + 2 instances of CN
Hi liviudo,
many thanks for purchasing the license!
To your questions:
1) The "Notebook Parameters" dialog has been superseded by the "File/New", "File/Open" and "File/Save As" commands.
Please use these commands to manage the notebook file location. You can see the path to the active notebook
in the MRU list above File/Exit.
2) This is easy to do with portable version. Create 2 copies of CintaNotes on your hard drive and configure
different keyboard shortcuts in each of them. Then you can load different .db files in each of them. One from the encrypted container,
another from a cloud-sync folder. This way you can get what you want.
The only inconvenience will be that the tray icons will be indistinguishable.
In the next version the name of the active .db file will be displayed in the tray icon tooltip.
Hope this helps!

Re: notebook option + 2 instances of CN
Thank you for reply.
Unfortunately when I try to run the second CN it says : " Activated already running CintaNotes instance. " with one OK button.
I can't run the 2nd instance.
I tried to rename the second CN.exe. Same result. Should I uninstall the normal version (C:\Program Files\CintaNotes ...) ?
I downloaded and tried to used twice the portable version CN 1.6.2.zip in Windows XP SP3 system.
Maybe there is a trick like in Firefox portable : AllowMultipleInstances=true in FirefoxPortable.ini.

Any help really appreciated.

Yes, it is very simple: just check the Options/Startup/Allow multiple instances option.
Sorry that I forgot to mention this!
