Hi,
I noticed that in 1.7.1 and earlier, the difficulty/lack of finess in navigating tags.
The only way to expand a parent tag is to click on it.
Why not have a Expand All/Collapse option? - Global and per parent tag (with Hot Keys)
Why not have tha ability to expand/collapse via arrow keys?
Thanks

Re: Navigating tags: Seemingly difficult
Hi cxerxes
I don't think there is a special reason not having it other than
- hierarchies are a new (long anticipated) feature and
- there are many enhancments I can think of (including your suggestion)
- but developoment time is limited and not all useful features can be added at once.
If you don't have already I suggest to add your request to the roadmap http://roadmap.cintanotes.com/ so others can vote for it.

Expand All/Collapse All - has been planned for the start actually, we just didn't have enough time
to get it into 1.7.1, these commands will appear in one of the next versions.
Expanding/Collapsing via arrow keys is not possible because (by design) Tag sidebar is mouse-only and doesn't receive keyboard focus.
