I whitelist which processes I allow/deny to run, and have received an alert on a couple of occasions of cintanotes.exe wanting to launch rundll32.exe. I think I've only seen it after loggin back in again after my workstation has been locked and idle for a few hours.

What's going on ?

Hi,
CintaNotes doesn't call this file directly. However it is possible that it is being called
indirectly by some the system libraries CN uses.
Rundll32.exe is a generic Microsoft process which enables to run DLLs as applications.
Have you perhaps noticed which DLL was passed as a parameter to this process?
Could you also please tell which software you use for monitoring?
Thanks!
