Thanks for reporting! Could you please try the Beta 3 version: http://cintanotes.com/files/beta/CintaN ... _Beta3.zip ?

Mark, thanks for the report, please try Beta3: http://cintanotes.com/files/beta/CintaN ... _Beta3.zip

Thanks! Please try this version: http://cintanotes.com/files/beta/CintaN ... _Beta3.zip
Should be starting up fine!
dordave wrote:First of all let me say that I'm really excited about the simplenote sync feature. This is definitely the feature I've been waiting for the most from the roadmap. Also now CintaNotes will be by far the best available PC simplenote client!
The sync process doesn't seem to work for me with my existing database. I loaded my (5000+) notes into the new version and hit the sync button, but the sync stops after uploading a few notes. Each subsequent press on the sync button uploads just a few more notes.
I'm using Win7 x64 and beta 2. I'm not using any custom sections, so the "Section to synchronize" is Main and all notes appear in this section.
Thanks.

How exactly were you saving a note? Via clip, paste, OK click in editor, Ctrl+S in editor?
CintaNotes Developer wrote:Thomas Lohrum wrote:I tried to create a note from the clipboard several times, but it appeared it was never stored in CintaNotes.
You mean Ctrl+V in notes list?
CintaNotes Developer wrote:Thomas Lohrum wrote:3. When the search window is visible, the note editor opens, but it is always empty. No content is added from the clipboard. However, when the search window (main window) is minimized to the tray a new note together with the clip-content gets created.
You mean all this after pressing Ctrl+V?

Hi Chris, thanks for the report, do you have a log file?
I can't reproduce this(
So some further questions:
1) How many sections did you have?
2) Which position had the section you deleted (leftmost, rightmost, in the middle)?
3) Have you moved sections prior to deleting?
4) Which view was active?
ChrisCN wrote:1) Color of the Main Section
uses the color defined via Color Theme and ignores the color set via properties of this section
ChrisCN wrote:Creating a new note now does not give us an option to which section it should belong.
The current behaviour is fine with me - but maybe in the future we want a choice here?
ChrisCN wrote:3) there was a crash when I right clicked on the ALL button

ChrisCN wrote:4) I like how the color of the section is shown for the notes if ALL is selected
makes them really easy to distinguish
(and wonder how this will be realized along with the color feature for the tags?)
Thomas Lohrum wrote:Note Sure. Maybe Ctrl+S or ESC and close window.
CintaNotes Developer wrote:Hi kazak, thanks for the report. This is easy to diagnose: have you been trying to open a .db file from version 1.9?
Please see above:
"ALSO IMPORTANT:
THIS VERSION IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH PREVIOUS BETA (1.9.1). YOU SHOULD USE .DB FILES FROM 1.8.5 (OR CREATE A NEW NOTEBOOK AND USE XML IMPORT)."
CintaNotes Developer wrote:Thomas Lohrum wrote:Note Sure. Maybe Ctrl+S or ESC and close window.
Thanks for the extra info.
This error might be produced if you're using the DB from 1.9. Are you sure this is not the case and the DB is new?
Can you send the log file in please?
Very strange - I was sure - tried it - now I am confused - seems to work - sorryCintaNotes Developer wrote:ChrisCN wrote:1) Color of the Main Section

Are you sure? I can't reproduce this. Note: tag sidebar color is not part of section color, only notes list color is.
Yes, no choice after I've pressed insert? Could be useful if you create a note and are not working in a specific section (e.g. global shortcut or workin in ALL).CintaNotes Developer wrote:ChrisCN wrote:Creating a new note now does not give us an option to which section it should belong.

You mean that there's no choice after you've pressed insert? Because prior to pressing Ins you can activate the
needed section and the note will go there.
Have you got the logs via eMail? But I think this happend before I activated debugging.CintaNotes Developer wrote:ChrisCN wrote:3) there was a crash when I right clicked on the ALL button

I've tried - no crash(. Maybe there was a log file created?
I was talking about this already started feature: http://roadmap.cintanotes.com/topic/336 ... ategories/CintaNotes Developer wrote:ChrisCN wrote:4) I like how the color of the section is shown for the notes if ALL is selected

Sorry to disappoint, but there are already enough different colors, so we are not planning introducing colored tags in the foreseeable future.
