Actually, there have been problems. The service you are using to accept credit cards is making it very difficult for me to purchase my renewal. I don't know whether I'm on some secret list of risky customers, but they have more extra requirements than any online vendor I have ever dealt with, bar none. First they wanted me to email a scan of my credit card and driver's license. I saw security issues with that, so I asked them to explain. They said it was to prevent fraud, and told me I could cover up some of the identifying information on the cards that they don't need. For example, do they really need the photo on my driver's license? What in the world would they be comparing it to?

So I scanned these documents, and then blanked out parts I thought they wouldn't need, using photo editing software. They thanked me and informed me that I need cover these parts with paper, and not use digital editing software. So I cut up blank sticky notes and put them on my cards before I scanned them. Now they are asking me to do it again, but this time to write the date on the sticky notes with a pen.

I have never had so much trouble spending $12.50 in my life. It's beyond the point of silly, wouldn't you say?
