Hello

I downloaded the new Version 2.2 and my Virus-scanner told me:

Virus: Gen:Trojan.Heur.GM.0004432100 (Engine A)
file: Enigma_Install_Utils.dll
Folder: C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\is-2ENK9.tmp
Prozess: CintaNotes_2_2_Setup.tmp

This is a false positive. Please kindly tell which AV software are you using?

Thanks for the info!
As already said, there's no virus, it's safe to install.
The next CN version shouldn't be detected any more.

Glad to hear that. :) As for Avira Antivirus, they confirmed the false positive for the 2.2 setup file. However, they did not change their signatures. Instead i had to temporarily allow the scanner to access files packed with an unusual packer.

This extra license validity check in installer (which requires the extra DLL) proves more trouble than what its worth. Probably an additional warning on the download page and
during install should be enough to prevent angry "I've installed V2.3 and my license reverted back to Basic" emails. :)

Yes. Let's try that.
