Hello,

Simplenote does not work on android 2.3.3. I would like to sync cintanotes over dropbox to sync with my android 2.3.3 phone. Maybe an old andriod app version? Alternative? If so, please tell me where to get it. If not, do you know of another android app compatible with citanotes?

Thank you, I tried it, but it doesn't seem to allow you to add/edit tags, specify category or create one, etc. Did I miss something or is there another app? Thank you.

You can tag notes via pressing the Menu key while editing a note. There is a "Tag" command available.
The tags themselves indeed cannot be edited there AFAIK. But I know no other app that can do this.
And what you mean by "category"? A section? Simplenote doesn't support sections, so on sync CN
transforms sections into specially named tags like "#section/Main".

Yes, I mean that categories are sections. It is working, thank you. Would be nice if the interface on Android could separate sections, etc., like on Cinta on the desktop. Could Cinta develop an android app? Also, is there a way to for an instant sync on the desktop cinta? Thank you.

We could develop our own Android app, but it is a difficult task.
Would you pay for such an app? How much?
