Hierarchical tags

Postby gunars » Tue Jan 14, 2014 9:15 am

I have some hierarchical tags set up with a parent category and various specific child categories. However, sometimes I just have a note topic that is not frequent enough for me to set up a child tag. In that case, I just give it the parent tag. How can I filter for all notes with the parent tag and none of the child tags? The only way I've found is to select the parent and then Alt-click each child to remove it. I'm wondering if there's a better way.

There is a shortcut for this: Alt+Shift+Click on the parent tag

Terrific - just what I was looking for. I had missed that in the helpfile even when I was looking in the right section.
