Downloading new notes 373 of 416 - hangs

Running 5.2 pro trial
I installed CintaNotes and when trying to sync with my simplenote account info the process hangs with the comment line at the bottom "Downloading new notes 373 of 416. No notes are imported.
Please advise.

thanks for your message.

This is a problem which we are aware of - in very rare cases it could manifest itself on some notes for version 2.5.
We now have a fix for it. Please replace your cintanotes.exe with the one from attachment
and tell if this solves the problem. Thanks!

All - I had the same problem. Downloaded the zip and replaced. Syncing works like a champ now. No hang-ups. Thanks CintaNotes Team!

Just curious: what caused it - SimpleNote Sync? Did they change something?

The reason was a bug in syncing of the new Remarks field.

Good to hear I was worried that you'd be upset about it being a new field and not the renamed Link field.

I was first, but after i saw how smart you changed the location and style of the link field i was happy. The only drawback is the fact, that arrow down does not jump to remarks right away, because it stops in the link field.

Maybe the TAB-stop for the link field could be removed all together. One can use F7 to activate the link anyway or use Alt+L to edit the link. To me it makes more sense to move from tags to remarks, rather than tags, link and at last remarks.

The problem here is that users would have no way of knowing that Alt+L edits the link field.
If they want to navigate to the link field using just the keyboard, they'd be very perplexed about the tab skipping over the Link field..
