In this version:

Features:

• Editor: Search and replace inside of note edit dialog
  (removed "Search up", added "Find previous" button, added button shortcuts, autohide on lost focus, added F3 and Shift+F3 handling)
  
• Notes list: double click in empty area to add new note

Enhancements:

• Export: provide default filename
  
• Export: reduced UI clutter, removed unnecessary groupboxes
  
• Editor: added "Properties..." to context menu
  
• Focused note and note selection for each section are now remembered on program restart
  
• Option to hide "All" button on section bar, with it being hidden by default
  
• Tag sidebar: tag filtering setting are now remembered on restart
  
• License dialog: Replace "Buy" button with "Renew" when license is present
  
• Notes list: Make selected and unselected notes more distinguishable
  
• Notes list: Try to keep scroll position and focused note on tag filter change

Fixes:

• Simplenote sync: search filter is reset after sync (regression)
  
• Editor: don't apply list markers to empty lines
  
• Editor: shortened URLs not entirely visible in the Link field
  
• Recycle Bin: crash after mouse click when list is empty
  
• Editor: "mailto:" links were diplayed incorrectly
  
• Buttons remain hover-highlighted even after mouse leave
  
• Section-related error when clipping with "display in editor" turned on
  
• "Replace tags" command changed current tag selection
  
• Export: Error while exporting to old XML format
  
• Simplenote sync: creation date is killed when synced after FlickNote
  
• Alt+Shift+C shouldn't activate menu mnemonics
  
• Editor: link formatting becomes corrupted after undoing Shift+Enter
  
• Editor: control focus is lost after Alt+Tab

I confirm:

• Fixed: Ctrl+L now works on empty lines again
• Fixed: Focus-Change on Alt+Tab
• Notes list: Make selected and unselected notes more distinguishable
• Find-Dialog: Next/Previous Buttons, Shortcuts and AutoClose all very nice
• Replace-Dialog

• Ctrl+R
• Replace some text
• Click in Editor (which will auto-close Replace-Dialog)
• pressing F3 will cause exception

BTW we've decided to postpone "Forward/backward navigation" till 2.7, since it's a bigger change
than was expected.

The last active note will still be highlighted, even when the search-box has the focus. For example after pressing Ctrl+F to start a new search. This can be confusing. Why? Because when i press enter it does not open the note, but rather will switch to the notes list first. This is ok and known handling. However, the note should not be highlighted when it does not have the focus. A highlighted note always means i can press ENTER to open it which is not the case here.

The label "Press Ctrl+Del to remove license" does hide the button "Renew" partially. This affects the german translation, but might be the case for other languages too.

We are already aware of that error and actually already fixed it in the 2.6 Final which we're preparing.

Actually the dotted focus rectangle is not there when the control doesn't have the focus.
But you're right that the selection should be more dimmed in this case. I'll fix this, thanks!

I'm with sumansaha the need for inline images in notes is becoming increasingly important in the enterprise environment.

Thanks, the de.lang file was broken. I've fixed it.
