Hallo,
on my keyboard the delete-key and the insert-key are side by side. Often I create a new entry using the insert-key. Sometimes I hit the delete-key then the note is immediatly deleted without any question like: Do you realy want to delete the note...
Is there a way to switch on such a feature?
Thanks
Yogi

Re: accidental delete
Hi Yogi,
There is a confirmation pop-up when you delete a note, but you may have ticked the 'do not show again' option, and that may be why you don't see them. Having said that, CintaNotes does have a recycle bin: File-->Recycle Bin. You can recover any deleted notes from here (I don't know how to re-enable the confirmation prompts if you have selected the do not ask again option). The notes in the recycle bin are purged every so often - you can see a couple of options at the bottom of the recycle bin window relating to this.
Regards,
usb

Re: accidental delete
usb, thank you for helping out!
Indeed, Yogi, you must have clicked on the "Don't show again" option in the delete confirmation box.
At the moment you can only re-enable it via editing the settings file, namely by setting the
"confirm.notes.movetorecyclebin.enabled" there to 1.
All usb's remarks about Recycle Bin also stand.
