Dec 15, 2014 - Version 2.8.4

In this version:

Enhancements:
  • Added option to control RTF clipping: "clipping.format.rtf.enabled". Set it to 0 if you're having issues when clipping from Internet Explorer or Microsoft Word.

Fixes:
  • RTL: Fixed remaining wrong bracket direction issues
  • Notes list: A tag name with a '&' will not be displayed correctly
  • Tag drop down is cut off on monitor border
  • Section "Inbox" status can't be cleared when notebook has only one section
  • Possible "LogicException" error after deleting section
  • Simplenote sync: tag deletion or renaming is not uploaded to server
  • Editor: always focus note body when there are search hits
  • Don't replicate Program Files sub-folder structure in %APPDATA%

Note: no real changes since Beta 1, only F3 behavior in the editor has been fixed.

Download:
Installable: CintaNotes_2_8_4_Setup.exe
Portable: CintaNotes_2_8_4.zip

Thanks to all who helped in testing 2.8.4 Beta!

Thanks Alex, i confirm the issue fixed. Searching is doing well again. Also i checked for a match in the title only. In that case the caret will be placed inside the title, though the word won't be highlighted. This is a known issue. So this is just a confirmation.

Thanks guys! Yes, the issue if not highlighting the search term in the title still remains - I'm postponing it till we decide for sure if we merge the two fields into one or not.

I had in the back of my mind that I hadn't answered the question you asked us in that thread - I have done so now.
