press DEL on empty list line

Hi Alex,
when you press DEL on a bullet-line, which does contain text, text in the next line will be moved up and combined, even when the next line is not part of a bullet list.
When you press DEL on a bullet-line, which is empty, text in the next line should be moved up and combined, even when the next line is not part of a bullet list.
This is contrary when pressing BACKSPACE on a bullet line, which is empty. In that case it is fine to remove the bullet.
Please, can the editor be changed to combine two lines, when the first one is an empty bullet and the second is plain text?
