Exporting to one file

I know Cintanotes can export to a text file, but is it possible to export each note to individual files?

Hi,

I don't believe there is a way to do this in bulk inside CintaNotes itself, no. In the Export dialog you can select the 'selected note' option which will only export the currently selected note, but if you had say 20 notes you wanted to export as 20 separate files, you would have to select each one in turn, and run the export command after selecting each one. Depending on how many notes you wanted to export, this could be impractical (if you only wanted to do a small number, you could do it this way, but if you wanted to do 100 for example, I certainly wouldn't want to try it this way).

Having said that - there appears to be a way to do it using an external utility. See the following thread for details:

There is also an item on the roadmap http://roadmap.cintanotes.com/topic/3428-importexport-of-selected-notes-fromto-individual-files/.

Vote for it, if you like it.

It looks like you have to register with some form of community to add a vote, and quite frankly this week I am sick to my back teeth of non stop registering on this place and that place and another place. I've got a word document with 528 registrations for every forum you have to do it for and am fed up.
So I'll just leave it for now but thanks anyway.

Hi Gary,

I'm sorry that we still haven't implemented a single sign-on for this forum and for the roadmap.
If it helps, on the roadmap you can login with your Google, Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo, Microsoft, Github or any other OpenId account.
