Can you archive tabs?

I can only use up to 3 tabs. Is it possible to archive one in some way, replace it with another, but with the ability to archive and restore tabs at different times?

Hi Gary,

You can't do that directly, but a simple workaround exisits.
Simply save a copy of the notebook (File/Save As), and in the copy delete all tabs except the one you want to archive.
Then reopen the original notebook and delete the archived tab.

When you need that tab again, simply import from the other notebook file (leaving "Import Sections" option checked).

Hope this helps!

Ahh that didn't work. I deleted the other two tabs and then tried to open the first one. Now I've got two copies of Cintanotes with only the one tab that I wanted archiving, and lost the other two. I've tried importing from the database but it simply says database locked. FML

Sorry to hear.
Note that I asked you to execute the Save As command first.
But most probably you still can recover your notes from the backup copy.

Sorted. I saved everything, then deleted the two tabs I want, and saved that database with the one tab I wanted to archive.
Then I opened the original files and deleted the tab that I now have archived.
Job's a good un :D
I'm not the most technically minded person so I love the simplicity of this program that means even I can achieve what to me...is a great result.
