Hello again, I dont want to repost, I think it might be good to explain my problem differently to get some answer.
I just bought cintanotes and love it , however, when opening a second instance, I cant use it and get an SQL error : Database locked.
I am attaching a screenshot, also shown above.
Thanks , Oliver

Re: SQL Error - Database locked when opening 2nd instance
It is not advised to work with same DB from multiple instances at the same time - it can lead to data loss.
But if you absolutely have to do it, to avoid the "database locked" error, exit CN and edit cintanotes.settings file:
change sqlite.pragma.locking_mode to "NORMAL".

Re: SQL Error - Database locked when opening 2nd instance
Thank you for the answer, how do I make the second instance of Cinta Notes use another DB on startup ? It seems to use the same DB automatically .... I do NOT want to work with the same database. THANKS HEAPS for this great software, Oliver

So that two instances of CN don't step on each other's toes, you need to have a separate copy of CN with its own cintanotes.settings file.
The easiest way to get it would be to use the portable version.
