My wish list

This is not a series of complaints: it's simply a wish list that I have gradually compiled while using CintaNotes the past couple of years. Some of the things I mention here have been discussed earlier or are known to be changing in version 4. So I hope I don't sound grouchy. This is just a list — arranged more or less in order of importance (to me) — that I made for my own benefit, and I finally decided it might be useful to publish it here. These are the things on my mind as I use CintaNotes:

(1) I need a better way to display images. (Alex reports that this will be improved in the next version.)

(2) I continue to struggle with flickering text. Months ago we had an exchange on this forum about the problem, and I tried all the suggestions from Alex and various users, but none of them really worked.

(3) I wish it were possible to change the line-spacing — or, on the other hand, I could live with a default spacing that is just slightly larger (such as 1.5 lines). At the moment there are many fonts that I can't use (including my longtime favorite, Georgia) because the lines look squashed together.

(4) CintaNotes' tags are brilliant, but when I occasionally assign a lot of tags to one note, moving through them at the bottom of the window is extremely awkward, because some have disappeared off the edge of the entry box. I gather that the tagging system will be different in the future.

(5) CintaNotes produces outstandingly good HTML files, but at the moment there is no easy way to export to a Word file. Sometimes I need to do that when I am sharing notes with others.

(6) I'm glad to hear that in the next version it will be possible to change the color of note texts. Almost any color would be better than pure white. I'm aware that black (with white text) is fashionable at the moment, but I would prefer a pale cream or pale yellow.

Agree with most of this, and I would add my number one missing feature: add a spelling checker function, at least for the main languages (FIGSP)

Yes, that should have been on my list.
