I've found this happening occasionally, I think only since v 3.13:
What happens: I highlight some text in one of my application, in order to make a not of it, and hit Ctrl+12. Result: Most of the time the note opens with the clipped text, as it should, but at times, a note opens, but without any clipped text; If I then repeat the operation (highlight the text and hit Ctrl+F12), the note with the clipped text appears correctly.
Please let me know if there is any additional information I could provide to diagnose the bug (I know that it is difficult to diagnose defects that happen only occasionally).
Sometimes Ctrl+F12 doesn't clip the highlighted text

Re: Sometimes Ctrl+F12 doesn't clip the highlighted text
Hello Riccardo,
I think this might be a timing issue. CintaNotes has some built-in timeouts, e.g. for how long does it wait for the source application to place the text into the clipboard. If the application has not done it within a certain time limit, CN gives up and creates a blank note.
To debug the issue, as usual a debug log would be helpful! It should contain such failed attempt to clip.
