Spybot Search and Destroy flags CintaNotes

Postby Dcinta » Thu Nov 19, 2009 10:36 am

Thought you should know, Spybot Search and Destroy's latest definitions file flags CintaNotes as 'malicious software'.

I've had both programs for some time without Spybot doing this, and neither Avast or Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware find anything, so I'm assuming it's a false positive from Spybot's latest definitions file. Perhaps you should contact them?

This is what Spybot says:
Filename: cintanotes.exe
Found in: C:\Program Files\CintaNotes
Identified as: Rbot.skp

Hmm, I guess this might be because of the UPX packing of the executable.
Kranor, thanks for filing the report!!
