Sorry, can't find it. Have you sent it via email?
And I assume that the runtime error is present in the logging version too?

Also according to your screenshot, CintaNotes has run and then the runtime error has happened? When does it happen?

Alex
When I started CintaNotes 1.0
CintaNotes opens with runtime error
You can still use CintaNotes allowing you to run CintaNotes About
When you close Runtime error dialog CN crashes

Did you receive log1

I see - so 1.0A+LOG version crashes as well :(

No, I didn't, to which address have you sent it? Could you post it here as an attachment? Just don't forget to press "Add file" before you press "Submit".

Thanks, ale, it actually doesn't matter since while the release is "hot" it's ok to report it here too.

I really don't know if this is a bug however, because it can come in handy that the notes are exported in the same order as they are currently seen. If you export with "Reverse Order" turned off, the order is retained.

You can actually use this to turn the order back to normal. Just export notes one more time with "Reverse Order" on.

Ok I'm going to bed now... It's 4 AM here ;)

yes - that worked - thanks. Nod

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate and I am also getting the runtime error. However, if I right-click and 'Run as Administrator', I do not receive the runtime error.

@kranor, Notts, metaloop:
Guys, I have a theory that this runtime error might be connected with the attempt to automatically import notebook.dat.
Do you have a notebook.dat file in the directory? What happens if you rename it? Thanks

Alex, I also see the runtime error if CN is executed with a limited user account. I don't think it's related to notebook.dat. I tried with nothing but CintaNotes.exe and the runtime error appears. Maybe completely wrong but I thought for a moment so I say  may it be related with a lack of privileges for the file system changes listener when CN is executed with a limited account?

I get the error with no prior notebook.dat, as well as with a blank notebook.dat. Renaming the file results in the same runtime error.

Again, I do not receive the error if I 'Run as Administrator'. I should note that I am using an Administrator account.

I'm getting the same issue (windows 64 home premium) unless I select 'run as administrator'

I'm now using v1.0A from the home page (portable version).

When I used the 'log' version it all worked ok

Cheers,

I get the error on the installed version and portable and it doesn't matter if it is an upgrade or original install. I still get the error :? :?

ale, you are a genius! :) are you a software dev yourself?

I think this is exactly the case! I was able to reproduce the error (on XP SP3) and to fix it.
Now I just don't install the filesystem watcher if the user is not an admin.
Since the "hot" Dropbox sync doesn't work anyway (at least yet), no harm done.

Guys, try this version please (fixed runtime error + also added some keyboard shortcuts for sorting):

Installs & runs ok for me on Win 7 from USB Stick
