[Ann] CintaNotes 1.2 Preview - Open multiple windows

Postby CintaNotes Developer » Wed Jun 30, 2010 1:30 pm

Guys, I'd like to present the newest version of CN, where it's possible to open multiple edit windows.
Would be very grateful for some early feedback. Thanks!

gritche, CintaNotes has two search modes: exact search and full-text search.

In full-text search mode, CintaNotes works like Google, words are matched only from the beginning.
On the other hand, exact search mode scans by symbol and matches even in the middle of a word.

Full-text mode is much faster on large notebooks and enables to search for multiple words and their combinations.
Exact mode is useful for searching inside of longer words and searching for symbols.

So you should be using exact search, which is turned on using the search drop-down menu.
You can find more information here.
Hope this helps.

If I set "Options"->"Always on Top" then main window always overlaps child windows. I think it is incorrect behavior. Child windows should overlap main window if they are active.
