Hello guys,

well at last it's time to preview the new version ;) I'd really appreciate some early feedback from you.
Thanks in advance!

Ok so here is what's new:

1) Feature: Recognizing links inside notes. The following types of links are currently recognized:

Code: Select all

       http://cintanotes.com/something
       http://www.cintanotes.com/something
       cintanotes.com/something
       ftp://cintanotes.com/something
       https://cintanotes.com/something
       mailto:feedback@cintanotes.com
       file:///c:\windows\system32\calc.exe

2) Feature: Reopening not explicitly closed note windows on program restart
3) Enhancement: Ctrl+Home/End for going to first/last line of text in the editor
4) Enhancement: Press Ctrl+Enter in search box to transform tag search into tag sidebar selection.
5) Enhancement: Text in the search field gets selected when pressing "Ctrl+F"
6) Enhancement: Tag autocomplete automatically adds space at the end
7) Fixed:
- Crash when pressing Ctrl+Break
- Empty notes were not deleted automatically on ESC press
- Crash on closing from tray menu with open note editor window(s)
- SQLite error while pasting text from Scintilla-based editors
- Long tags didn't fit into autocomplete popup

An option to disable this feature would be great. I can edit the links any more, it opens the URL directly in my browser.

Just one information : Resizing to full screen with tools like Winsplit Revolution or launching Cintanotes with the option maximize generate a screen bug (The scroll bar stay at the "small window" position.

Thanks to everyone!

Would an option to use double-clicks instead of single clicks to open links fit the bill?

Is this one bug or two separate bugs? What do you mean exactly by "launching Cintanotes with the option maximize"? Standard windows shortcut option? Thanks

I'd prefer that, since this is primarily an editor and only then a link launcher... In fact I have my two main text editors (Win32pad and NFOpad) configured that way...

Guys, please check out this latest version:

1) (Hopefully) fixed draw bug reported by Jidé;
2) Added Options/Editor submenu to configure single/double link clicks;
3) Removed legacy CintaNotes Beta (.dat) notebook support to reduce .exe size

Thanks!

Thanks for testing guys! You're a great help as usual.

Well now it's out at last :D I suggest we (sit back and relax :mrgreen: ) discuss 1.3 further here, not making a new thread.

BTW I'd like to draw your attention to the important (IMO) enhancement: pressing Ctrl+Enter in search box to transform tag search into tag sidebar selection. Together with tag autocompletion, this is a really quick way to pick tags from keyboard.
