[UI] Ability to access main window while note is open (#166)

Postby Dcinta » Tue May 05, 2009 10:12 am

Hi, first of all thanks for a great app - it's exactly what I've been looking for! I've tried quite a few, but this is the best thought out one I've seen. It's quickly become an integral part of my workflow

The only small niggle - and my apologies if somebody has already mentioned this - is that while I have a specific note open, I can't access the main window with all the notes listed. I would like to be able to do this for things like cross - referencing notes etc.

Also, in the same vein, it would be good if I could open more than one saved note at a time - for the same reasons mentioned above.

Keep up the good work!

I like this idea, but I would like to be sure that any changes made while notes were open were saved to the main file. Nod

I kinda like this idea too. It would like you say make the cross referencing easier.

I guess from the implementation point of view it's identical to #166, "Open multiple note windows".

I did have a long think about #166 but decided that it may not include being able to access the main window with full usability whilst a note is open in edit mode. We could number this thread as such if that would be part of the implementation of #166 ?

Yes, the implementation is definitely the same and it would make no sense to implement this suggestion without doing #166 at the same time.
