How about allowing the tab key to function internally within notes, rather than externally causing the cursor to jump around the interface, from field to field. Why not, at least, allow this option in the preferences, the option of setting the tab to typographical use? I need to embed tabs in my text sometimes.

In other words, if I want to prepare a simple note for future export, placing tabs here and there, it would be nice to be able to do it, little by little, within CN, rather than have the key limited to jumping around the window externally.

There are another shortcuts for inserting TAB character and outdenting selected paragraphs in CN - Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab respectively.
