I've received this feature request over email:

> my language is persian and right to left.
> can you add a option for Right to left view or left to Right view
> for persian or arabic language?..

Dear Friends,
Hello!
Maybe it's time for a piece of good news for Persian / Arabic users as their fonts are read from right to left but not vice versa.
it's like ,Most of the time we tend to ignore the special needs of left-handed people in this world because we think that it's their own deficiencies. Well, I am left-handed also! :)
I hope you can all vote for our problem as it can bring more comfort to some of our RTL friends all over the world as well.
Thank you for your kind attention.

I'm all for globalisation, but don't understand this one. Does it involve reversing word order? When text is captured won't it be displayed as it was originally displayed? Or is it about aligning text to the RH Side? Nod

dear friend
of course my mean is about aligning text to the RH Side
we can see it in Notepad also..
it is necessary for RTL languages (same as Persian/Arabic) to read more comfortably

Welcome to the forum, roxro! :P

BTW since I'm unfortunately not a specialist in RTL languages, could you please tell me if the text alignment is the only thing that's currently wrong in CN, or if the letters inside words should also be reversed? To illustrate:

Code: Select all

now: [hello              ]
should be:    [             hello] or [           olleh] ?

Thanks!

Thanks for the pics!
It seems that the alignment alone won't be enough, since all the dots would be on the right side, but should be on the left?

Hello all,
In reviewing cintanotes for my needs, found it to be great. But with one show stopper which
is RTL support.

You can actually press right ctrl + right shift in the editor on a line, and it will
align to the right perfectly with all the character in order with no exception even the dots.
But when you return to view it, the right alignment is gone and back to left alignment.

On you Road Map I didnt see any indication that this will be fixed.

Any prospect on that ?
