Multiple Link Fields

Postby usbpoweredfridge » Fri Jan 17, 2014 11:29 pm

I know we can enter as many links as we like in the main text of a note, but one thing I've always wanted in CintaNotes is multiple link fields. Sometimes you enter a note that may have links to two or more websites, and you have to choose one link only to enter into the Links field, and then have to enter the other links into the main text. Which is fine - it works, but I like using the link field as it separates the links out from the actual content. Also, if you then want to open the link, you can simply hit F7, rather than having to open the note, search through the text to find the link, and then click on it.

There are two ways F7 would work with multiple link fields. First is that that when you hit F7, CintaNotes would prompt you with a dialog box as to which link you wanted to visit. Second is that CintaNotes would simply open all the links (all major browsers now have tabs, so this is not an issue). The latter would be the logical choice.

You can use Shift+F7 to open all links inside the note's text. Be aware there are problems with some browsers when there are many links (> 10).
