URL Clipping

Unsure if this one is technically possible or not, but thought I would throw it out there anyway. I clip a lot of text from websites. Often, text from websites has a URL in it. When you clip the text, only the text is included - and URL's are discarded. That means to get all the contents of the original article, you have to right click the URL in your browser, copy the link, and then paste that into the note inside CN. It would be great if - when you clip text that has a URL in it - CN would include that URL (as a click-able link) in the note.

Here is an example:

Test test test Google test.

When clipped, that text becomes:

Test test test Google test.

What I want is this:

Test test test Google http://www.google.com test.

So CN detects that 'Google' is a URL, and includes the URL after the word in the clipped text.

Hi usbpoweredfridge,

Even better would be to set it up the same way as the original, namely as a link with 'Google' visible and the URL attached to it. This is probably my top desired feature at the moment. It's on the Roadmap already: http://roadmap.cintanotes.com/topic/315 ... -in-notes/. When I asked Alex about this, he replied:
That's because Surfulater parses HTML for links, and CintaNotes doesn't do that yet. It can only pickup links if they can be recognized as matching a URL pattern: starts with 'http://', etc.

But we plan to supporting in the future

Very good :) I've been meaning to create a logon for the roadmap (it is a shame it doesn't accept your forum logon) so I can start voting on a few of these - I have one more reason to do so!
