focus on last position

Postby Thomas Lohrum » Tue Sep 08, 2015 5:19 pm

Hi Alex,

i sort my notes for modification date. When i save the note in the editor, which is focused in the notes list, the note will move to the top. However, the focus moves to. My workflow is different though. I open, check and save notes iterating the list. Therefore i want the focus to keep its position, while the changed note itself may move to the top. May i have an option to control this behaviour please?

Hi Thomas,

do I understand correctly: if the edited note would move to other place, you want the focus to go the next note in the list, and not follow the edited note (so the focus will behave as if the note was removed)?

Ok, I see.
Should be trivial to implement: in fact, it requires to deactivate code that makes focus follow the note.
Will for starters add this as a settings file options, and then we'll see..
added to our task list.
