[Editing] Please add a hotkey for show/hide open note(s)

Main reason I like this program is hotkeys to start a note or bring up all my notes without the mouse. I like to do everything with shortcut keys coz it's way faster.

Recently Ive been making notes about Unity witch takes up my whole screen and I want to quickly open the same note again and add to it periodically without having to click anything.

I realize I can actually just show the main window and hit enter to re-open the last note. But also have to hide the main window again witch requires hiding the show/hide main window hotkey an additional 2 times.

Or even better if I have several notes on the go being able to show/hide them all at will with hotkey would be great.
Or even better again.... (just another idea) a hotkey you combine with number pad to go to the (n)th note I have open like ctrl+shift+numpad 1/2/3 etc.

This would be really handy for when I'm doing programming assignments and am moving snipetsof code around etc.

Hello Brad, and welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the request. I guess adding something like "Show last edited note" hotkey would solve
the task for you?

Also note that it's possible to have the main window auto-minimize when you open a note. Just set
"app.mainframe.minimizeonenter = 1" in the cintanotes.settings file.

Hi,

i had suggested a similar request a couple of years back: Shortcut to cycle through open editor windows. It became less relevant after CintaNotes introduced the "app.mainframe.minimizeonenter = 1" setting. Still, sometimes it can be handy to switch between the open editor windows.

Thomas, thanks for providing a link to the idea on the roadmap! I've re-activated it.
