[Viewing] Ways to emulate the paper index card experience

I would like to sugest at the Note List feature of the option menu the inclusion of ways to better emulate the paper note card experience. It's not just for cosmetic reasons. Part of the overall annotation philosophy of "1 note, 1 idea" is actually a consequence of the material constraints assumed as part of the old slip box, card file, card index systems. Besides, It could be more aesthetic pleasing for someone, me included, although I'll not go "full hipster" with the whole thing, with drawn lines and all... (Hey Scrivener, I'm looking at you )

Hi Bugminster,
Thanks for your suggestion! could you please elaborate a bit more about what it means exactly for notes to be like "index cards".
I think the way you put it, it is very much open to interpretation. A screenshot/rough painting could help here. Thanks!

Sorry, my fault. I just check it again and saw that's possible to configure the minimum of lines displayed as well. Thank you very much.

Ah, so that was the problem - I see. Great that you've found this option!
