Create a new note by Ctrl+N in existing note

Postby OldGrantonian » Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:02 am

.
When a note is visible, and has the focus, it would be convenient if we could create a new note by Ctrl+N.

This would be useful if the main window is either minimized or in the system tray. In those cases, Ctrl+F12 opens the main window and a new note, but (a) that's a slow operation, and (b) the new note is prepopulated with the title of the note that had the focus.
Thanks.

Hello anad thanks for the suggestion!

There is also a global "create new note" shortcut (configurable in Options/Hot keys), wouldn't it help here?

You're correct. I missed Shift+Ctrl+12.

Thanks.
