[Clipboard] Configure copying to clipboard (#216)

Postby Marco » Thu Aug 13, 2009 11:48 pm

hi alex,

i am impressed with cintanotes - will be definitely on top of my programs, if :)

- it would be possible to have a "copy"-function, where only the text of the note will be copied to clipboard. at the moment all information is copied to clipboard, which does not fit my needs (possibly others?). it would be ideal to have a shortcut for that.

otherwise very great work, keep on!

Hello Marco,

yes, I'll definitely make this configurable. I've already been in need of this myself)
In its simplest form, I'll make Ctrl+C to copy only the note body, and Ctrl+Shift+C to copy all the fields.

Same here.
I was searching to find a way to copy only the note content.
Great!
Can't wait to see the next release.

Another question:
why don't you make all notes editable?
(this gives us the possibility to copy a few lines in a note, now we have to double click every note)

Simply put, to prevent accidental edits. But there's already a request for inline note editing, see here:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=91

If it gets many votes, it will be implemented as an optional feature.

You're welcome!)

re CAPTCHA: Yes I know it's tough, but unfortunately this is the only thing that can keep spammers at bay with a forum engine as popular as phpbb. In future I'll find something better, but now my main focus is developing CN.
