[Editing] Changing creation date

Postby Brett » Wed Sep 09, 2009 1:24 pm

:) Thanks for a great app. I have been transferring my notes from another program to Cintanotes and have found I can't change the creation date to the date when I wrote the original note.

Can you please add the editing of the date?

It will help me when reviewing my meeting notes over the last year or so in it's proper sorted order.

Many thanks, Brett

Hello Brett, welcome to CintaNotes forum, as a workaround for your request you might try exporting the notes as XML, changing the date and time there and then importing back the notes. However I didn't try this with recent CN versions and I would suggest to make 100% sure you have a proper and complete backup in a safe location before doing so. At the moment the notes are not sorted by date in fact regardless of date/time we can also rearrange them with the Edit > Move menu or relevant keyboard shortcuts.
