Hi Team,

Is there any option in cintanotes to undo our steps. I have merged to tag and then I have released that it is not require. Now how do I undo my action.

Please assist.

With Regards,
Heera

Re: Undo

At the moment the only way to undo is to restore the needed notes from the backup files, which are by default located in the "backup" subdirectory. Here is what I'd do:

1) Exit CN, rename the main cintanotes.db file to cintanotes.db.bak
2) Start CN, it creates an empty notebook.
3) Select File/Import, and import one of the backup files, either daily or weekly, depending on how long ago did that change happen.
4) Select the needed notes and export them to XML.
5) Rename cintanotes.db.bak back to cintanotes.db, overwriting the new cintanotes.db
6) Import the XML file that was exported in step 4.
7) Delete the corrupted version of the notes.

In CintaNotes 1.1 there will be an option to exclude tags from search. Then you'll be able to do it in a bit simpler way, all without exiting CN:
1) Tag all notes as "original"
2) Import one of the backup notebooks
3) Find the needed notes and tag them "original" too.
4) Delete all notes not having tag "original"
5) Delete corrupted version of the notes.
6) Delete tag "original"
