[Managing] Tagging via checkboxes

Hi,

I think it is somewhat tedious to have to type all the tags everytime you tag a note. It would be much nicer if the already existing tags were displayed with a checkbox beside each tag and you would just have to click on the checkboxes you want, or maybe scroll through the list (which could be several columns if it is a long list) using the arrow keys and use space to tag/untag, if you dont want to use the mouse. Of course, if you use tags that don't exist yet, you have to enter them, but most of the time, you just use tags that you already have used before.

Hello and thanks for the suggestion.

There are already some tasks in that regard on the roadmap ("Tag picker control", "Drag-and-drop tags onto notes")
In the meanwhile (and this is a little-known existing feature) you can middle-click on tags on the tag sidebar to assign them to selected notes.
