Is actually already on the roadmap, vote here: http://cintanotes.userecho.com/feedback/3168-seach/

And also please answer these questions:

1) How to edit the title?
2) What should happen when I click outside, switch to another program, start searching, switch to another tag?
3) Why the editor is not using all the available space? Do you really need to see the tails of other notes while editing? )

PS Nice set of tags btw;) are you a dev yourself? )

Oh, I didn't see that...It seem noboby need the feature :(

Maybe just change the title bar to a edit box?
CintaNotes Developer wrote:2) What should happen when I click outside, switch to another program, start searching, switch to another tag?

If the action change the view(clip from browser, click tag, double click another note, search, etc), save & quit the perspective to list view/some other view?
If tha action only take the focus away, do nothing.

I just feel the popup window looks a little uncomfortable...
Btw, I'm a Chandler user and I like its layout, and I feel the potential to use CN as some compact gtd software, but I don't satisfy about the way quotepad does that.(quotepad is somehow very similar to CN's design)

Thx. I'm a newbie j2ee dev. I'm learning C++&win32 btw, but find it really hard, though...

danei, thanks for the answers!
I suggest we leave it here for now and return to this topic when the feature gets to the top of the queue and is put to implementation.
