Hi,

when i add some new note with CTRL+F12, there is always the "Tag Sidebar" open. Why? I dont need it and i dont want it. Yes, i can close it, but the next time when i save a new note with CTRL+F12, it will be there again.

Thanks,
DS

Your settings are not getting saved as they should, it seems. Please try to hide the tag sidebar and then close CintaNotes. See if the sidebar still comes back after you reopen CintaNotes and report it here, along with the version of CintaNotes you're using and other environment details (OS, portable, etc). Thanks,

I guess this is probably because the "Options / After Clipping / Switch View to Untagged" option is set.
Clear this option and you won't see the tag sidebar.
CN displays tag sidebar because otherwise there would be no visual cue that not all notes are displayed, which would be confusing for the users ("where did all my notes go???")

Great, Alex. It's all the better when the very developer is able to detect what the problem is... :)
