[Editing] Add Undelete feature

Postby littlebigman » Sun Sep 19, 2010 8:53 am

Hello,

Using CintaNotes 1.2, unless I missed it, there is no way to undelete a note. The only way is to ...
0. Close CN
1. move cintanotes.db to \TEMP
2. Copy backup\cintanotes.hourly.db as \cintanotes.db
3. Launch CN
4. Find deleted note, and paste its contents in another application, including title (CN only copies the body of the note)
5. Close CN
6. Overwrite with \cintanotes.db with \TEMP\cintanotes.db
7. Relaunch CN

"Undo" feature is already on the roadmap.
And now you could have just imported the hourly backup file, without all the copying/renaming hassle.
