The state information in the note editor consumes unnecessary space. For example create a new note, enter some text and save it. The height of the state panel (creation date, OK, Cancel) is fine. Now make some changes and save again. Now the height of the panel increases and stays this way forever, just to display "note saved" for just a second in time I like the layout of the note editor and the state bar, but imo the extra space should not be allocated. Either display the information to the right side of the creation/modification or (better) use the window's caption while saving.

Re: Height of status bar in note editor window
How about temporarily replacing the datetime labels with the "Note saved" message, and then returning them back?

Fine. That would make the message even more recognizable.CintaNotes Developer wrote:How about temporarily replacing the datetime labels with the "Note saved" message, and then returning them back?
