Could you please send me your old cintanotes.settings file?
It's possible that it is connected to the culprit.
Also, do you have any anti-virus software installed?

Yes to anti-virus - McAfee.

Won't let me send it to your forum - rejects - give me a private email to (you know my email address in the forum) and I will send it to you that way.

Btw - Cintanotes is still working but as I mentioned a couple of notes back only in the new Beta 3 directory - I have not yet moved any files over from my normal directory

Have you tried temporarily disabling the AV?

Just emailed via Outlook, cintanotes settings file from the directory that no longer works.
