Example:
Export a formatted note to a HTML file
Select some text from the HTML file
copy to the clipboard
create a new note
paste from the clipboard
--> all formatting gets lost

Ok. I've voted for both. Though one can argue, whether functionality, that does not meet the users expectation is a bug or a missing feature

Yes, sometimes to fix "bugs" like this you have to write tons of new code
