Program crash on multiple note "cut" in main window.

One other thing I've seen in CintaNotes 2.0 is that when I attempted to cut about 15 notes at once to move them from the Main section to a newly created section, the program crashed, giving me choices to report the error or close the application. Prior to that, I had successfully cut and pasted single notes, or groups of 5 or 10 notes. There was nothing different about that group that I can think of. They were simple notes, each having only a title and a single local file link in the link field. I wish I could provide more details than that.

Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit, CintaNotes 2.0, Main window has focus

Thanks,

Karl

You can activate logging in the main menu "help\debug\debug log". Try to reproduce and provide the log file. It is stored the same directory as your database. Usually C:\Users\<name>\appdata\roaming\cintanotes. Check for log.<number>.txt.

Hi ktowers,

thanks for the report!

As Thomas said, having a log file would be more than appreciated!
Also, can you reproduce it on a new database? Have you by any chance upgraded from version 1.9.1?

Thanks, Thomas and Alex. I had 1.8.5 before moving to 2.0. Both of these are the purchased personal version. I just tried it on a new database and it didn't happen. Of course, it didn't happen before, throughout multiple cut and paste operations, except that one time.

I have enabled logging and will continue to watch for it.

Thanks,
Karl
