After a couple of weeks troubleshooting why some applications couldn't connect to the internet after half an hour or so of startup I found out it was CintaNotes that caused the problem.
Its supposed to be a simple note application.
I'm a developer myself and find it embarrassing to run your application again.

That thread is talking about registry changes, I'm using the portable version, so it can't be registry related, but if it is then that makes it worse.
Portable means writing nowhere except AppDir and in some cases Temp folder.

Noddy is right. Please try updating to the latest 2.0.1.
CintaNotes wasn't writing to the registry itself, it happened via the WinInet library which CintaNotes uses.
Sorry for this problem, won't happen again.
