Hot key clipping does not work in Google Chrome

Postby WKF » Fri Jan 11, 2013 10:41 pm

Hot key (CTRL +F12) clipping just opens a blank note with Google Chrome, but works normally in Opera or Internet Explorer. Latest versions of CintaNotes and Google Chrome installed. Using Windows 8.

Hi WKF, thanks for the report!

Could you please activate debug logging (Help/Debug menu), try to clip, and then send the generated log.1.txt file back to me?
This would help immensely. Thanks in advance!

(Please note: the log file might contain some of your data.)

I fixed the problem. The culprit: Chrome was running in the Windows 8 mode. Once I relaunched Chrome in the Desktop mode I was back in business. The relaunch command is accessed on the menu revealed when you click the triple-bar icon in the upright corner.
