Version 2.1 cannot open my database

I was just now informed of the new 2.1 update, so I saved it to the desktop, closed the running instance of CintaNotes, intalled the upgrade, and when I tried opening CintaNotes immediately after that, this error appeared:

The notebook file 'E:\id draft.db' was created by a older version of CintaNotes and cannot be upgraded.

Error message: Precondition failed:
ui::Window::getHwnd
isAttached()
"

It gave me the options "create new", "open existing" and "exit", so I just exited. I have no other existing database, and I have no intention of creating a new one for fear that it might tamper with the old one.

Any ideas what I should do? Is there any way I can safely rollback to 2.0.4 or something? I haven't manually backed up my database this week and I have new notes added, so I don't want to do anything that would cause the loss of that data.

Sorry, we've already fixed this error, please re-download version 2.1 and try again!
Don't worry, your notes are safe. A backup will be created before notebook format upgrade.
