Alex: Are you sure that there is always a rational explanation when computers are involved?
Will keep you informed.

I'm curious - your DB files are not stored in the CN program folder are they? I am wondering if all this is related to the VirtualStore feature in Windows (where file writes to protected folders are silently redirected to the VirtualStore folder), thus meaning you may have two copies of your DB files on your system. If they are stored in the CN program folder, can you check your VirtualStore folder? It should be in C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\VirtualStore (you will probably see a CintaNotes folder in there if so).

Yes, our computers are not based on the quantum effects yet, so they are fully deterministic ;) I believe that the full explanation can be very, very long and complicated, but it must exist.

Alex: Be sure and tell me when you find it, but only after you have read it all and determined that it is all factual.

Alex: BTW I took a chance and just tried the latest update on CN and it worked without any problems.
It has to be a good alignment of the stars or whatever (a lot of stuff falls under that category).
